For Cancer Survivors
The Kristine Catalano Scholarship
We offer FREE memberships to persons who are actively fighting or are recovering from(up to 5 years out from a clear
diagnosis) any kind of Cancer. My Aunt Kris passed away October 30, 2005 from a malignant brain tumor. My
heart aches when I think of her. Cancer is a horrible disease that has effected far too many people, of course
if you ask me 1 person is too many. Kris was kind and beautiful and the world will not be the same without
her. Because many studies show that exercise can increase survivor rates, help with energy levels and depression, and
actually boost immune systems: we offer totally free memberships to any person who has or is in recovery from Cancer .
Of course we want you to check with your physician, but we offer classes like Stress Management Yoga with guided imagery, which
can be very helpful to practice for pain management, as well as the traditional classes and equipment. See Tami or Tom
at the front desk if you qualify for this program.

your skills. Food, childcare and water provided free for participants- you do not need to participate in the entire
